Swaziland x 2012
I went to Swaziland, Africa to do some photographic work for The Danish Bible Society.
The country has the highest HIV-rate in all of the world and I visited hospitals, schools, the vice president and different projects fighting against the HIV in the country. The Danish Bible Society supports a HIV-fighting project named "The Good Samaritan". Most of the children in these pictures come from families with HIV and AIDS and a number of the children are infected themselves. Here are some impressions.

I had to contact the doctor, from our conversation; I was relieved and convinced that the result is going to be positive because I was made to contact people with worse cases. Today, the awful situation has gone by. My happy life is back. I'm now HIV survivor and I am glad because my daily routine activities had now kick off without obstructions. Don't let HIV hinder you from living a desired life and also, never allow anyone decide for you especially when they don't know what you have to go through to get to where you are. I was almost discouraged by the doctor but then, I remembered that: I have to shield my destiny with courage, faith and perseverance my life is now a testimony. After I got cured, I said, Mom “I just thought, ‘Well, I’m a unconventional, I’ll never be normal, then she said, my daughter, life itself is a misery and we get stronger in the places we have been broken.
